Red Method

If you thought the support band was just something to get through before the headliners, RED METHOD was there to prove you wrong.

Some bands walk onto a stage and play their set. Others take over the entire room. RED METHOD were firmly in the second category at Rebellion, Manchester, delivering a seriously intense performance that made them impossible to ignore.

From the movement on stage to the way they controlled the crowd, there was an energy about RED METHOD that made it difficult to look away. These guys didn't just stand there playing their instruments; they threw themselves into the performance, making full use of the space and bringing an intensity that carried straight into the audience.

One of the biggest highlights was seeing both Jeremy & David get into the pit during separate songs. Rather than keeping themselves safely on stage, they went straight into the chaos and became part of it. Those moments added another level to the performance, blurring the line between band and crowd and making the whole thing feel even more unpredictable. It's the sort of commitment you love to see from a live band, and it made an already energetic set feel even more memorable.

The crowd control was another massive positive. Getting a room moving is one thing, but keeping that energy going throughout a set is another challenge entirely. RED METHOD made it look effortless, building the intensity and giving the crowd plenty of reasons to get involved. There was a real sense of connection between the band and everyone watching, rather than the audience simply standing back and observing.

Supporting a band like THE HAUNTED is no small task, especially when you're playing to a crowd that's waiting for the headliners. But RED METHOD didn't come across as a band simply fulfilling a support slot. They brought their own personality, their own aggression and a level of live energy that made them a genuine highlight of the night in their own right.

It's performances like this that remind you why it's always worth getting down early and giving the support bands your attention. You might arrive looking forward to the headliners, but sometimes the opening act ends up being one of the biggest talking points of the evening.

RED METHOD was absolutely insane at Rebellion. The movement, the crowd interaction and the willingness to get right into the pit made this a set that was as entertaining as it was intense. If this is what they bring as a support act, they're a band I'd happily go out of my way to see headline a show of their own.
