Mr. Fantasy kicked off his first ever tour, "Mr. Fantasy's Sexy Little Tour," this past Wednesday, July 17th in Los Angeles at El Rey Theatre. This stop was the first of five shows across the United States. Performing his debut album, FANTASYLAND, to a packed room, the feeling was absolutely electric. Mr. Fantasy showed off his one-of-a-kind dance moves and guitar shredding all while wearing his iconic wig and sunglasses under the rainbow lights. He was backed by a wonderful seven-person live band who played a variety of instruments and provided backup vocals. The audience was having the time of their lives throughout the show, but especially broke into a frenzy as Mr. Fantasy threw his pick and shirt into the crowd. The night ended off with the crowd swaying with their flashlights on to "One Last Night" one of the more emotional tracks off this album.
As the first stop of his debut headlining tour, Mr. Fantasy set the bar high with his perfirmance With his infectious stage presence, impressive musicianship, and the undeniable connection he built with the audience, the night proved that his music translates just as wonderfully live as it does on the record.
